Norway is known for its beautiful nature and wilderness. The country has some of the longest and deepest fjords in the world, surrounded by mountains which some places reaches a height of approximately 2000 meters above sea level. Every summer a lot of the large cruise ships are visiting the Norwegian Fjords. The mountains are popular for hiking, both by tourists and by the Norwegians themselves. There are a lot of wild animals living in the woods and the mountain, among them reindeers, elks, wolfs and brown bears. The glaciers should also be mentioned; these are large areas of “ever-lasting” snow.
